Sanofi Pasteur meets this challenge every day thanks to its R&D and production facilities implanted in France and around the world. Sanofi Pasteur currently operates fifteen production and/or R&D sites located in France, USA, Canada, Argentina, China, India, Mexico and Thailand.
Nearly €2 billion have been invested in the last 5 years in production infrastructures. Sanofi Pasteur invests more than €1 million every day in R&D.
Our vaccines protect against 20 infectious diseases: cholera, diphtheria, Haemophilus influenzae type binfections, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, influenza, Japanese encephalitis, measles, meningococcal infections, mumps, pertussis, pneumococcal infections, poliomyelitis, rabies, rubella, smallpox, tetanus, tuberculosis, typhoid fever, yellow fever.
Sanofi Pasteur is the world’s largest producer of seasonal influenza vaccine (more than 200 million doses in 2013) and the world’s leading provider of inactivated poliomyelitis vaccine.
We currently have 13 vaccines in development or submitted for approval to meet the specific needs of different segments of the population. Our R&D portfolio includes new vaccines against dengue and certain hospital-acquired infections, e.g. Clostridium difficile, and innovative vaccines such as a quadrivalent influenza vaccine.
