The French Healthcare Alliance held its 3rd French Medical Day (FMD) in Guangzhou on November 26, 2017. 230 high level Chinese and French delegates (pharmacists, physicians, policy makers, hospital executives and journalists) participated in this event, including Mme Siv Leng CHHUOR, General Consul of France in Guangzhou, M. OUYANG Ziwen, Deputy Director General of Guangzhou Municipal Commission of Health & Family Planning and M. CHEN Zhongwen, Chief of Municipality Welfare Office, Bureau of Civil Affairs of Guangzhou.
The event consisted in an institutional and medical seminar with presentations by 16 Chinese and French key opinion leaders. After a plenary session dedicated to healthcare policy (specifically, new developments in the field of diagnosis related groups), 3 medical roundtables were organized focusing on infectious diseases, clinical pharmacy and elderly care.
This 3rd edition was co-organized with the French Embassy and Business France in close partnership with the Health and Family Planning Commission and the Civil Affairs Bureau of the Guangzhou Municipality. 9 French companies of the French Healthcare Alliance (BIOMERIEUX, COLISEE, IPSEN, SANOFI, ADEN SERVICES, BIEN VIEILLIR, ISRP, LEGRAND and PADW) supported this event.
