The French delegation to CMEF-IVD Shanghai once again embodied the innovative spirit for which French medical device manufacturers are well-known. From April 17th to 20th 2016, the French Pavilion run by Business France – the national agency for the development of the French economy – hosted the following 15 exhibitors :
ARJOWIGGINS HEALTHCARE (medical packaging solutions), ATA-MEDICAL, (equipment for medical gases), BLUESOM (Obstructive Sleep Apnea treatment device), ECHOSENS (diagnosis solutions in hepatology), ECM SCAN - Echo Control Medical (Doppler scanners), IMPETO MEDICAL (diabetic autonomic neuropathy diagnosis devices), NOVAIR (medical gas systems), PULSSAR TECHNOLOGIES ( miniature piston pumps), SEFAM MEDICAL (airway pressure devices), THERENVA SA (medical software), THUASNE (comprehensive range of medical devices), TOP CLEAN PACKAGING GROUP - CARTOLUX SUZHOU (packaging and handling solutions), CRYOPAL (cryogenic products), AIR LIQUIDE MEDICAL SYSTEMS (equipment for medical gases).
Almost half of these exhibitors, already well-established in China, were represented by their own local subsidiaries. “Made in France” is particularly well in tune with the Chinese medical device market and its strong emphasis on innovation. This shared interest already has been stimulating Sino-French partnerships in distribution and R&D for years now. Today, these collaborative efforts are further enhanced by the action of the French Heathcare Alliance.
