Impeto Medical is a privately held company, founded in 2005, which designs and manufactures, in France, medical devices for non-invasive examination of the peripheral neurological system through the sweat function analysis. Impeto Medical’s breakthrough proprietary technology allows the immediate detection and follow-up of small nerve fibers neuropathies which may be particularly present in the early stages of diabetes and prediabetes or possibly due to treatments’ neurotoxicity. Headquartered in Paris, Impeto Medical exports most of its production, particularly to the United States and China through its two subsidiaries: Impeto Medical Inc. and Beijing Impeto Medical. Patented and CFDA approved, more than 600 eZscan and Sudoscan have been sold in China (June 2014) - and 600 in the USA, where SudoScan examinations are reimbursed by US Medicare.
