PADW is a French design workshop founded in 1989 by Gilberto Pellegrino, in Nantes. Gilberto Pellegrino strongly believes the human being is in the heart of the conceptual process; designing is not a dogmatic practice. This belief leads him to be the main actor in research of healthcare architecture & design and to receive the acknowledgement of French Health Institutions.
Our team is composed of various skills and personalities; those differences and experiences are what nourishing our work. Our design covers the following sectors: healthcare, housing, education, childhood, corporate, cultural and urban planning.We worked together with renowned Chinese institutes, hoping to share our knowledge and experience, especially in the health sector, as China is nowadays confronted to the revolution of its health institutions. We worked on a new concept based on our previous projects by combining the French healthcare system, its technology and the Chinese culture.
