Paris University Hospital (Assistance Publique –Hôpitaux de Paris) is a group of 37 national and university hospitals with a threefold mission:
- Medical care including emergency and preventive care: we are covering all the range of specialties concerning medical and surgical care with 22000 beds. We are renowned for our expertise in the following fields: rare diseases, cancerology/Oncology, cardiology, nutrition.
- Education and training: we work closely with 7 faculties of medicine, 2 faculties of dentistry, 2 faculties of pharmacy, 27 institutes for nurses and specialized nurses ; we also train 800 foreign doctors each year.
- Research and innovation with 2000 ongoing research projects , 40% of the French hospital publications. 4th for publications ranking in the world.
